Well, they have a tendency in Israel, when they recover something like an old jar to automatically link it with biblical times.
PSeudo-archeology is strong in that country, and is it really such a doubt that afterwards people like Alon barge in, convinced that the palestinians have built "nothing" (which doesn't actually even mean anything).

No body baraged in! The land was sold to Jews like Baron Rothchild by the Otman Turks that ruled
and owned the land at the time. The UN voted on a Palestinian homeland in 1948 and the JEWs
accepted the deal which would have given the Arabs known as Palestinians the majority of the land.
As usual the Palestinians leadership refused and most their terrirtoy was occupied by Egypt and
Jordan. The real Israeli's still leave in Israel as some communities never left. One of those communities in Hebron was totly buthchered (including decapitating babies) in the 1929 Hebron massacre The currect term would be Jews (Yehudim) as they came from the land of Judea (Yehuda) and not Israelis.
There was NO cultural mix up because the Europeans forbid Jews from living in the cities, joining trade guilds, attending universities or joining the army (until the end of the 10th century).
This racist acts is what preserved the Jews as they are though the centuries.
The Jews of Israel still exist and DNA can still prove it even if they leave in Sweden or a tribe in South Africe like the lemba.
What Israeli/Jewish book would contradict that, Nadini?

They are not, but ethnically we are extrimly close (blood relatives).
