They are really good, I think. Sometimes they work in joint venture with another solid company, the Italians of Astaldi (to build Basarab flyover or Arad-Timişoara motorway, for instance).
But what's amazing is Danube Bridge II, and FCC's work is impressive there.

Bucharest is witnessing currently quite a hectic activity on overpass construction sites (8 are currently U/C, with few more bound to start next year for the southern ring connexions), which are meant to streamline traffic both at the intersection with the main ring-road, but also inside the city proper:

Varna-Burgas is part of corridor VIII and Bulgaria is planning a motorway there. Unfortunately, Varna-RO border is planned as a 2x2 national road.

I'm sorry but I couldn't help itDoes Pipera mean pepper(the vegetable)?

In Romanian we say piper to pepper, so Pipera isn't the word you were thinking. But I have to admit that is very close to it.

FCC is about to win a one billion contract for building M5 in Bucharest. They had the lowest bid among all bidders. They'll have another challenge after completing the bridge!

Nice picture! I haven't seen it so far. I'll quote you!

PS: They should take down those old buildings and storage facilities and make way for a thorough offices quarter.
