You've never seen something like that before? It's a very common tourist attraction trap.

Why this table looks like Hungarian despite the fact that is on Romanian territory? Also Hungarian names are written like official instead of Romanian.

Well you can put in your garden whatever you want :-)

I always enjoy the translation of those romanian villages from hungarian language. Theyre kinda funny.

How can the Timisoara - Lugoj section be only 36km?
If I measure a straight line from where the Arad-Tm motorway ends up to Lugoj I get around 46km.

Those are Csángó villages (they are Hungarians living in Moldova, Romania), and according to the distances, the sign must be somewhere near the border of Transylvania and Moldova. Btw in Harghita county you can find bilingual direction signs, unlike in Slovakia.

Those pictures of Bucuresti-Moara Vlasiei are looking good! When will they finish the section?

Btw how is the Moara Vlasiei-Ploiesti section coming along? Any pictures?

Few years ago the entire map would have been orange+red, but now the main roads could be coloured in green (but there still are many sections where red is not enough... for example roads in Maramures county).

Bucuresti - Moara Vlasiei section are due to be finished in this december, at the end of 2011. I read somewhere on a story that is finished somewhere around 70% and I tend to agree. When I took the pictures they were working with a lot of trucks, a lot of dust.
About Moara Vlasiei - Ploiesti, I don't have any pictures, but I know they have just started to build a bridge over a lake and they said it should be finished by the end of the year as well, but I doubt that. This section is divided in three smaller parts to three different companies and the stages are somenthing like: 80%, 50% and 30%, the last one being the one with the bridge.
