Just pay attention to the western part of the Nadlac - Arad section which it's placed too low on the map. Normally, that part will be directly connected to the hungarian M43 which is situated above the Mako town and will pass by the north of Nadlac.

Arad - Timisoara will be ready, but I have doubts about Arad bypass.

Well, AR-TM looks close to completion. Btw, I don't check infrastructure threads very often but I remember there was a problem with a gap between AR-TM motorway and Arad bypass. I'm really curious about that, has it been fixed or was it that much of a problem?

Yeah, that gap was fixed. There are several main problems:
- the motorway exit at Giarmata (Timisoara): there is much to be done until completion, but I heard that they will complete it
- 2 overpasses over railways on AR-TM motorway: they say that they will be completed
- main problem on Arad bypass: the interchange at Arad airport where one building is still sitting in the path of the bypass. This one might not be ready on December 15th

Romania's Government has approved the new contract with U.S. company Bechtel for the construction of the Transylvania Highway, which reduces the cost of the project to EUR6.9 million per km and allows the sections where work has not begun to be auctioned off, said Transport Minister Anca Boagiu.

Basically yes. The other sections will be put up for tenders.

The announcement for the approval of the contract means that the Gov will be able now to finance additional work for Bechtel.

I beg to differ.
Bechtel has started and not finished the section Suplacu de Barcau - Bors (near Oradea) = 64km
There are 2 other sections not started, therefore not to be completed, by Bechtel:
Cluj - Mihailesti = 24km
Mihailesti - Suplacu = 76km
and other sections outside Cluj - Oradea.
