Thanks for the pics. The exit Ortișoara looks a bit complicated. Is there any reason why it isn't built in a simpler way?

Too much space used for a crossing without all connections. If you look at the guys that want to go on the highway from the left side to the right, there's no connection at all. The same thing with those from upper image.

That interchange it's closed right now because it's not 100% completed. When it will be opened (before May 2012) all directions will be available.

But still, it's hard to understand why this layout was chosen instead of one that was more economical in terms of land and ramp length. It's not as though more efficient layouts are rare.

Actually, the correct translation would be "Suck it, ACTA".

My translation was a literally one (I translated the noun with a noun equivalent).

You translated and adapted the translation to a verb.

N.B.: In English, 'blow job' is the popular transformation of the expression 'bellow job'

Romania To Publish Procurement Notice For New Study On Comarnic-Brasov and Bucharest's South By-pass Motorways In March

Romania's Transport Ministry will publish notices of intent in March for a revised feasibility study on the Comarnic-Brasov highway section, a project abandoned in 2010, and for the construction of Bucharest's southern beltway, both ventures to be carried out through public-private partnership.

Number of road accidents claiming victims continues to fall
Thursday, 23 February 2012 17:38

The number of road accidents claiming victims, nationally, continued to decline in 2011, the assessment of Romanian Police activity last year reveals.

"The evolution registered during 2011 of the main indicators on serious road accidents dynamics confirmed, for the third consecutive year, the continuation of a downward trend of road traffic accidents claiming victims nationwide. Reductions compared to 2008, a peak year in what concerns the number and consequences of events of this kind, being of 13 percent of serious accidents per total, 34.2 percent for persons deceased, 7.15 percent for severely injured people and 4.4 percent for lightly injured people, following serious road accidents ", the cited document informs.

This substantial decrease of road risks was also highlighted by the last PIN report of the European Transport Safety Council (ETSC), which mentions Romania's progress in terms of road safety, from 142 fatalities per million inhabitants in 2008, to 96 people killed in road accidents per million inhabitants at the end of 2011.

This is the first time since the early '90s when the number of road accidents fatalities decreased to around 2,000, in conditions of an entirely different road context, characterized by an exponential increase in the auto park and the number of holders of driving licenses, as well as an undersized and insufficiently modernized infrastructure, plus the low level of traffic education.

Aplic si eu teoria cauza-efect (DUPA ce s-a produs efectul) si spun ca traficul auto a fost mai mic in 2011 fata de 2008 (desi numarul de autoturisme e mai mare in 2011) din cauza pretului exagerat de mare al benzinei si din cauza crizei economice din care nu am iesit pe deplin. Si niste km in plus de autostrada facuti din 2008 pana in 2011 au contribuit, dar nu prea mult.
=====================
Correction:
I apply the 'cause - efect' theory AFTER the effect has been produced and I say the auto traffic was less in 2011 than in 2008 (despite the fact that we have more cars in 2011) due to the exagerately high price of fuel and due to global crisis which is not completely gone. And few km of new highways built between 2008 - 2011.
