Not realy, this cars have the radar mounted on the dashboard with the action range in front of the police car, so they where making some radar control but the stoping method is very wrong.

Should not he have a stop sign/light in his hand?

He looks like he wants someone to stop so that he can ask whether he should be driving on the right or the left in Romania.

Barely out of the brig and already posting off-topic news on a motorway thread and the international one too. FML!

Yes, I'm trying to see whether you are still stalking me. Guess what the answer would be?!

PS: The guy is The transport minister. This will probably have a rather sensible impact on motorway construction.

PS2: what's FML?

Ideally, all problematic users are supervised (stalked, if you prefer), especially following their entry or exit in or out of the brig. However, in this case, I'm just subscribed to this thread, as it's a good one for getting distilled news about motorway construction in Romania and it's the first time I come here after my return from vacation. When I go to the local threads, I usually have tons of crap to clean, so those are primarily work for me, while this is actually a good place too keep a bird's eye view.

Not that any of this is relevant, since transport minister or not, that's justice/politics content destined for other threads, not this one.

But let's move on now. I'll pretend you understood and cross my fingers that you don't prove me wrong again.

FML = **** my life.

I didn't ask for the long explanations actually ... I was rather having a joking tone which you seem not to have gotten. More so, I am not asking for a useless argument. I understand you are back from vacation, me too, so let's enjoy and not **** both our lives.

The other sectors that you posted can be opened by those dates, although it's not 100% sure.

What!?! What happened with that contract that was cancelled ! WTF?! That motorway is cursed. Last year Lot 1 was cancelled. Now the same with Lot 2.

Edit: I read now that Alpine filed for bankruptcy. Really bad luck.

User Ionut from the other forum announced this.

I think it has to do with the financial problems of Alpine Austria (insolvency / bankruptcy).

Damn! That section is almost completed, but under these conditions will not open earlier than next year. They have to go all over again through the tender procedure for the remaining works. And that if they really could terminate the contract, because I doubt they were able to terminate the contract. What a mess!!

The state should make it like Upper Austria. They should search for other companies who can finish the section Arad - Pecica.

Since when is the construction stopped of Arad - Pecica?

They will have to put the section through the awful tendering procedures again. And that will take half a year or more.

Works stopped in June from my reading. Alpine moved all the money it cashed in Romania to Austria to pay up debt there, and left the Romanian subcontractors unpaid.
