The motorway ends at that roundabout, after that there is no more A4, just local port acces roads. There is a started project to build a bridge over the canal, frozen for the moment, but it will only be 2+2 AFAIK, and it will end at that same roundabout. Also, the link is designed to bypass both the Agigea port and the town of Agigea for trought traffic, which will be 1+1, according to plans.

I don't think that junction will be much of a problem, as the road will mostly be used by trucks, and it ends near the port. Maybe when the bypass will be ready it will atract some through traffic, but it's really not that usefull, as it is much shorter through Agigea, with a 70km/h (+10) speed limit.

Chris, what do you think of the font we use? I think it's the same as in Bulgaria, Serbia and Croatia. Is it a bit old fashion? Being all strong..

LeClerk, there are even photos from the actual A6 on our thread:

Thanks, but I stopped using the RO forum a year ago for time management reasons.

It's SNV, which is widely used in southeastern Europe. It originated from Switzerland, though is not used there today. Belgium is the only country in western Europe which uses it.

SNV is not bad, but has some deficiencies, some letters like a and e are too dense (not enough green space within the letters, making them slightly harder to read at speed and during less than optimal conditions).

Indeed the a's and e's are dense, and also i believe we use bigger letters in size and closer in letter spacing (but maybe that is just an illusion). 10x

Sebes-Turda (A13?) was put out today for tender at an estimated price of EUR 554 mil - EUR 8 mil / km. The price is expected to drop at tender. The motorway is financed at 85% by the EU.

There will be 4 lots, and contracts will be for 22 months (4 months design, and 18 months execution of works).

And when will they sign the contracts for the already-tendered motorway sections between Lugoj and Deva (lot 2,3,4), and between Nadlac and Pecica (lot 1)?
