The asphalt used is a very rough one for better grip to the ground. It's very extensivelly used here as opposed to the smoother asphalt which looks better but gives less grip to the wheels and so less stability to the car.

Well, if that's the case, they should not be allowed to participate for the next assignments (same for Greeks). But it's never that straight forward for this type of contracts.

On your previous map - are you sure that the next year there will be works done for Sibiu - Timisoara and Arad - Nadlac ? On what stages per every part? Can you elaborate here? Thanks.

The Director of CNADNR said works will begin or will continue, as the case may be, for all sections of A1 from Nadlac to Orastie. See interview here.

Pipera Passage And North Bucharest Future Plans

Hi Guys

As you know, this weekend there was another opening - the Pipera passage (over Buc - Constanta railway).

http://www.capital.ro/articol/pasaju...ei-129225.html

What is more important though is that this opening is part of a bigger plan of making N Bucharest more fluent as this will become the main entry of the A3 Highway.

Based on this article statements, I draw a map in order to have a composed image of the future plans.

If anybody has additional info or somebody works at Search Corp or PMB, please contribute with other pics or plans. Thanks.

I can see both, but I have 2 issues:

1. Use underpass/overpass, passage sounds yucky.
2. It's widened, not extended. Extended means adding length, not width.
