I had to write an essay on banned adverts last year and stumbled across it in my favourites. Although a few dark forces were probably involved.

Foam cloud logos in the sky near you

A US entrepreneur has developed a way to make foam clouds shaped like corporate logos that float up to 6000m into the air.

The 1.2m shapes, made from tiny soapy bubbles filled with helium, can travel for 48km before evaporating into thin air.

Francisco Guerra, whose company, Snowmasters Inc, makes machines that churn out fake snow for Hollywood films, is the man behind Flogos.

He has developed a machine that can manipulate the bubbles into any shape and pump them into the sky at a rate of one every 15 seconds.

He insists the Flogos are environmentally safe.
