I wasn't paying enough attention there, haha.

But in all seriousness, Copenhagen have the right idea. It's a city that Glasgow (which similarly sized) can really learn from.

Yeah we got something going, all new city districts has a metro/S-tog station (or new line) or else its planned.

The only new districts that hasn't is Islands brygge Syd, but here they have made a more simple solution.
A pedestrian bridge over the harbour leads directly to Dybbølsbro S-tog station and a bridge further south will lead to one of the stations on the planned southern branch of the M4 metro line.

It's kinda funny, Stockholm used to be like that, but has dropped the ball recently with its rail system expansion. They are now extending the rail system to new districts, but it took a while of no expansion.

Its also worth noticing that the Ørestad district is in part funding M1 and M2 and the Nordhavn district also is co financing M3 and M4 by selling land to developers.

That's also part of the reason we're not seeing a (severely needed) line to Brønshøj; no land to sell there.

The second TBM called Tria has started is way from Nørrebroparken towards Frederiksberg Alle metro station.

The first target is Nørrebros Runddel.

Nora is soon on her way to Nuuks Plads from her current location at Nørrebros Runddel.

Minerva and Eva will start from the Control center at Otto Busses Vej in a few month and will be heading towards the central station in the first of 3 stages.

Thank you for the updates. Very welcome. Please, can you keep regular monthly postings here of the progress of the four TBMs, and sources for any photographs being placed on other Danish language websites, and for which we Engilish readers might otherwise miss?

Thanks again for your postings.

All the talk is about the new metroline M3 and M4 but other projects are occuring.

The deadline for the implementation of platform screen doors on all the outdoor stations on M1 and M2 is set for June 2015.

The stations in question are Vanløse, Flintholm, Lindevang, Øresund, Amager Strand, Femøren, Kastrup, DR Byen, Sundby, Bella Center, Ørestad and Vestamager.

There is reserved 200 million DKK to this project.

A map showing the routes of the TBM´s, and no they just don´t do a half circle each.

Øster Søgade equals Sortedams Sø on the map

Here is a proper map of the light rail project in the Ring 3 corridor,

The line will be finished in 2020 and is 27 kilometres long with 27 stations, the price is 3,75 billion DKK.

The light rail from the project will be separated from the road traffic, or it will be more like a normal tram?

Light rail and modern tram systems are pretty similar last time I checked.

What i meant asking, was if it will be grade separated, whatever it will be: tram or LRT it doesnt matter that much. What's important is the separation hence the speed.
