bongo-anders, what's on middle right of picture? I think that it looks like former tram tracks are laying here?

Just a shadow of a steel barrier at the edge of the sidewalk

A few videos from Copenhagen that I took to showcase the public transport in the city.

First up is a video of one of the largest stations in the city, Nørreport Station. This is currently until the opening of the new metro lines, the only station where regional trains, intercity trains, the S-tog and the metro all meet in one place. It is also, currently, the busiest station in Copenhagen.

Next up is Østerport Station. This station is great for access to Kastellet. This, again, is served by regional trains and also the S-tog.

Big day at the metro construction today.

Eva departed Skjolds Plads today and its on her way to Vibenshus Runddel, Minerva should reach Vibenshus in the very near future.

Nora reached Marmorkirken today and that marks the first station in Indre By (downtown) to receive the TBM´s.

Minerva has finally after 2 months and 3 weeks reached Vibenshus Runddel, they haven´t explained why it took so long but normally each stage is normally closer to 2 months than 3.

And here is a series of rather disturbing photo´s from the breakthrough.

Here is a photo from Nørrebros Runddel, perhaps this is the station that is in the most advanced stage.

Couple more videos from Copenhagen from me. This time it's all about the metro (the driverless metro).

Two lines two views.

This time heading from Islands Brygge to DR Byen with a front view line M1.

Short view of Kastrup Station on the M2.

Amager Strand station - great for the beach (which was really surprising, definitely something Copenhagen has over Stockholm).

The platforms at the future Køge Nord S-train station looks like something now.

The 2 island platforms for the long distance and commuter trains are located on the other side of the motorway.

Hareskovbanen (previous Slagerupbanen) has just celebrated its 110 years birthday.

The first line went from København L (Løgten) station in Nørrebro to Slangerup, in 1976.

The terminus was changed from Slangerup to Farum in 1954 because a supposed railwayline from Frederikssund over Slangerup to Hillerød never got build.

After that the line was renamed Hareskovbanen because of the Hareskoven forest that it runs through

The S-train took over the line in 1976-77 and the end of the line was changed to Svanemøllen station where it connects to the rest of the S-train network.

Route map.

5A bus route gets a makeover next year

Quote:

Please post in English or at least give a brief synopsis to the content or don't post here. International section is for wider audiences.

In short, bus line 5A that are one of northern europes busiest bus lines with over 20 million passengers annually will get some new BRT styles busses that are 18 meters long.

The line will also change name to 5C when this happens in spring 2017.

Open house at Nordhavn metro station.

The yet unnamed 5th TBM is down in the shaft, ready for a May launch.
