I just want to say, with my terrible english, that I have been reading in the spanish news that today, 12 of October, to conmemorate the day when America was discovered by Christopher Columbus...
The flag of Italy was in the Empire State ![]() Sorry to tell you about that, but there is not any firm historical evidence about an italian Christopher Columbus: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Origin_...opher_Columbus There are theories about a Columbus from the spanish region of Catalonia, Genevese, spanish prosecuted jew, portuguese, from Corsica... even norwegian ![]() America was discovered by Spain, they paid the expedition, not Columbus, as the first on the moon were the United States, not Neil Armstrong. Neil Armstrong was born in Ohio, but I don't think that history books will say that the first nation on the moon was the state of Ohio ![]() I have known about it in this link, and it gives the idea that people in USA has not a lot of culture (I don't think so). In Mexico they speak spanish, not italian... http://www.lavozlibre.com/noticias/a...nto-de-america http://translate.google.es/translate...n&hl=&ie=UTF-8 I hope that this WTF will be fixed next years... I just wanted to say this.

The Empire State Building's green renovation program consists of brand-new windows and what else?

I think this pic has more ESB in the pic than I have ever seen before ? Usually lower floors are obscured by surrounding buildings.....? like from Top of the Rock which shows most of the building.

Desertpunk..Imagine if that was a top out pic...the ESB as a flat top......we would never have known but history would sure have missed something very special.
