After considering a bit, I do have some doubts how will such a rounded structure fit in, opposed to the straight edges of Macedonian Opera & Ballet building. I'm not sure because you can't see the both buildings on those pics.
But I hope they fit nicely.

I am really happy for you guys, in Zagreb they still thinking about building new Opera house, LOL, it is ridiculous to say the least, city of million souls and hasn't got a proper Opera House, current one, HNK is a tiny with 1200 seats built in 1880's. Lisniski Concert Hall is old, and not really able to host Opera performances at all, stage is to small and despite having 1900 seats it is to small I think.

I really glad Skopje is going ahead with this project, I hope more news comes about.

BTW I just read old Skopje thread, and I think 3x98 floor towers is utter nonsense, idiocracy gone hyper.

Simply put, Skopje lacks funds for public transport and some idiot is talking of 98 floor tower, not one, THREE, man is mad.

Even 30 floor towers would be wild dreams, Skopje needs to set its priorities first, needs of ppl foremost is safe, clean and smoothly run city, with public transport that meets the needs of all its citizens and communal and social infrastructure that is envy of the region.

Skopje is a capitol of a nation, it has to be look like a capitol, after all it is a first point of contact with the foreigners and tourist.

Sorry to bash your city, but someone has to say it.

When some idiot in Zagreb wanted to build 378m tower I said man is an idiot, I am glad I was proven right, no city in Central/Southern Europe needs a tower of 300m, Skopje ain't Milan, Barcelona, Madrid or Paris, you guys do not need to show of, nice spectacular design is all you need, something like this Concert Hall, or new Opera House but uniquely designed.

Something ppl would be proud with, and once Macedonia is rich country and if there is a need for 40 floor tower (150m tall) I say go for it, build dozen of them if there is a need for it, now, making statements for 3x50 floors or just pure fantasy 3x98 floors is a corupt madeness of eogmaniac with brain of a pea.

I don't think U did any bashing, we more or less drew the same conclusions when we debated the 3x50 idea. However, the whole initiative as idiotic as it is is healthy cause it could break the mental barrer that existed in Skopje in the past 20 years against not just skyscrapers but highrises as well. That kind of mentality among other things brought unfortunate solutions for some locations. Through this initiative the construction regulations have already changed and we'll probably end up with a section of the centar designated for business type highrises/skyscrapers for the future. This is very important because otherwise we might see this precious space being swamped by some mediocre projects as it has happend in the past... And than there is no turning back...

Wow the design for the Macedonian philharmony looks pretty snazzy, really nice.

Also why does it have to be so hard for us to get renders and plans of new designs and project. Is it that hard for the Skopje council or whichever party is involved to make a freakn site, post up some nice pics and a render of the projects, it shits me!!!. You can have one site for all new projects and designs and future plans that are planned to be built, whether in Skopje or Macedonia. The odd black and white photo in a frakn newspaper I suppose is not enough most of the time.

Грците веќе на големо го искористија потегот со преименувањето на аеродромот. Само им даваме муниција во многу неповолен момент за нас. Битката со нив ја имавме добиено пред да почнеме со вакви работи и самите да си ја загрозиме позицијата.

За вакви и слични работи (барем од меѓународен аспект), треба да почекаме малце. Ова што се прави е екстремно глупо и штетно по самите нас.

Od edna komotna pozicija kade imavme seriozna podrska od site relevantni igraci se najdovme vo situacija da sme pod konstantnen pritisok na Grcija. Taa komotna pozicija ne padna od mars, ja gradevme 15 godini na vistinski nacin prikazuvajki mu ja nasata vistina na svetot, krv propljukavme za nea. Se toa sto go pominavme vo tie 15 godini, celo omalovazuvanje so firomizacijata, ekonomskiot kolaps prosleden od sankciite od strana na Grcija i sto uste ne ovaa vlada go stavi na kocka za da i se dodvori na odredena target grupa megju makedoncite. Statua na sred plostad vo Skopje so kompletna drzavna podrska vo pozadina e sprema mene harikiri. Vo najmala raka se vrakjame na pozicijata od pred 10 godini. Strasno neodgovorno. Mozda nekoi pogolemi i posilni drzavi mozat da si dozvolat politika na kurcenje, ama nas ni treba politika na mudrost i takticnost.

Ako mislis deka nesto kje im dokazeme na sosedite negatori so spomenik na Aleksandar u sred centar gresis, edino kje im dokazeme deka sme iskompleksirani. Ako spomenkiot na skenderbeg ni e primer sto treba da go sledime, alal da ni e za nivoto, bidejki toj spomenik ne e nisto drugo tuku dokaz na neiziveanosta, primitivnosta i iskompleksiranosta na doticnite brakja nasi, t.e. na krugovite kaj niv (za zal vladeacki) koi ja butkaat taa cela nivna "revolucija" po cel region i koi se u film deka pisuvaat istorija.

I na krajot se nadevam deka ova nema da pomine tek taka, nemoze na opstina centar da i prdne i da nasadi spomenik po nejzin izbor na glavniot plostad vo ovaa drzava. Bez nikakva javna rasprava prethodno, kompletno inkognito kako da instaliraat nova vodovodna mreza na nekoja sporedna ulica. Ova e prasanje sto minimum treba da ide na gradski referendum.
