Tour Granite, Lyon, France

This is tour Granite, in Lyon, France. The tower is slighlty over 180 meters in height and has 44 floors ( 40 office floors ). Each three floors, there is a skygarden, with a sitting area for office workers. It looks like the tallest tower in Lyon, without the small pseudo-pyramid atop.

The lobby is 5 stories tall, and the building is entered from the sides, because the main core emerges from a water pool. Well, this is basically the concept, it was named Tour Granite because it has red granite between floors, as well as aluminium and glass... hope you like it!

Thanks very much!!! I made this tower for France, but i was inspired by buildings in Bogotá and Medellín, Colombia.

But i saw the tallest building in Lyon, and it is round and brown-orange, so i decided to add it to Lyon.

maybe it would look better if you change the red with silver and the brown with blue...so it would be a bigger eyecatcher. its only a suggest, but it would be interesting to see those clolors used on it.

Well, ok. I guess it is fair!! but for me, the red still commands!!

Hope you like it germantower :::

BTW,
the last ones represent the exterior lighting scheme during night with no office lights on. The colors change ( purple-red-yellow-green-blue-purple again ) around the building, not in a vertical way, they just circle the tower.

Excellent, reminds me of the changing colours of 'The Center' in Hong Kong. That would be so wicked to animate!
