btw, after working on this Makati compilation and BGC previously, i went ahead and checked how Manila fares with Makati and BGC, and to my surprise, my initial list almost surpassed makati in the number of UC projects in manila. can you believe that? anyway, it would take some time before i could make something like the below presentation for manila.

in the meantime, please enjoy makati

i figured i should edit BGC to exlude proposals/prep so it would be fair for makati

Semi-Urban and Rural Malaysia is going for a major transformation in the next few years. See it now before its too late...

One of my friends is from Taiping...

Anyway, instead of just focusing on connections between Manila/Clark and KL/KK, AirAsia should also focus say connections between Kalibo/Cebu and say Penang and other cities of Malaysia.

Btw, nice photos crossboneka, Manila really does look like a North American city... Bangkok does have more buildings but the architecture of the modern buildings there have more Asian feel. Same as other ASEAN cities.

Manila looks more like a North American City, with Latin vibe and very Asian problems. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

i hope cebu is also doing something to fix the housing shortage in the city.. The last time i was there, poverty rate is quite disturbing with so many small and huge squatter areas. You can see a lot of them even at the vicinity of cebu business park. That has become a common problem in relation to poor urban planning in most philippine cities.

Most Philippine cities have slums is that what you are saying? I agree with the poor urban planning, but 'common' problem in 'most' Philippine cities?

The place is indeed very wet the whole year. Never been there but based on the photos, there are plenty of moss and ferns growing on branches of the acacia tree.

Next month, all three rail lines operated by RapidKL will be integrated into one ticketing system. This completes the arduous task of integrating all three rail lines which were separately built by different companies.

This is RapidKL.

It took the operations of the two LRT lines in 2004 and monorail line in 2007.

These were the previous operators of the urban rail lines before RapidKL took over the operations.

This is the construction of the final permanent interchange station between monorail and Ampang LRT line. Kelana Jaya line and Ampang line were connected via Masjid Jamek station last year.

Construction still ongoing for monorail entrance

Entrance to the Ampang line, as you can see, entrance to both the monorail and Ampang line will be the same, ensuring total integration between two lines

No. Inside the train.

A lot of space, whereas in Manila MRT is the opposite.

You can do really dirty dancing inside Manila trains. In the '90s MTV called it 'The Grind'.

I think the Manila Purple Line train is considerably wide too.
