I've no info on that; however the Birmingham Beetham Tower's penthouse recently went on the market for £1.7 million! That was an Ian Simpson project and just 1 storey more than the Leicester tower will be. It may not be that high a price, however it will most probably be over the £750,000 mark.
One of the other Leicester forummers (can't remember who though ) mentioned earlier that a third or (something to that effect) of the phase 1 apartments had already been sold-no mention of price though.

Where are all the people who are moving into these new apartments going to work??!?! I hope the Science Park makes a massive difference to Leicester. The plans look great, that whole area will change for the better and link with the city really well and hopefully attract people and retain the graduates. Anyone heard which companies are interested in moving to the site?

I hope Leicester won't be seen as a sattelite city of London!!! It's as though London's commuter belt stretches to Birmingham!

With the promised improvement in journey times to and from the Capital announced by Stagecoach it's almost inevitable.
An hour and a bit would be faster than the commute into London from most of the Home Counties

I think that there's going to be a substantial amount of people from London that will buy these flats. When you look at how much they'll be going for, it will be out of reach for a lot of people in Leicester.
Let's hope that the Business Quarter and the Science Park changes that. I would love a job in Leicester, but at the moment, it's not possible. Instead I have to work for a company near London.

The trains into leicester can take just 65mins currently. I do hope that they look at the prices if you buy on the day, it's a real rip off at the moment.
I'm looking forward to them starting onsite for the Towers, hopefully that'll attract even more investment in the city. |

Public transport is shit. It doesn't take you straight to where you want to go and with no cargo restrictions, only operates at routes and times it suits them and it costs too much

Not quite sure that people in the east end of London have porsches (unless they're crack dealers). It would be more like rah rah rah rah, city bonus, went to dinner last night in Ramsey's new restaurant, rah rah rah.

Latest photos from across the river
There's no clear sign of progress, however it looks as though the river bank is going to be finally improved beneath the Westbridge Wharf scheme (as indicated by the scaffolding):

That site hardly looks big enough for the three towers! I too can't wait for construction to start. Once the ball is rolling I hope to see more proposals
it's even been suggested by the council that they expect more high-rise proposals along the riverside ![]() BG
