Do You have any information about stadium in L'viv??

Hochteif, Germany got the contract for construction of Kiev stadium, everything is decided including design but for whatever reasons they are not yet making it public knowledge. As for 'Livov' (eng spelling sorry) construction starts this year.

Arsenal has a plan for a different 45k, retractable roof stadium, while new Kyiv stadium will be around 60k and is more likely to be either municipal or Dynamo's new home...

About the look of Olimpitskyi i have no idea... There were like 10 proposals so far... All i can say it will be 5-star (UEFA requirement for a final Venue) will have 75-85k, with a new roof, unfortunately the running tracks will still be present.

have i unterstood you right: dynamo and arsenal want to build an new stadium?then there are 3 big stadiums in kiev. are there concrete plans? and what about the olympic stadium? who will play there?

Exactly, 3 stadiums, two club ones, and Olympiyskyi will be the home of National Team, and will be used for various athletic competitions, concerts... ect.

I can advise that the only concrete plans for a new upgraded stadium in Kiev are Olympisky old stadium and by concrete I specifically mean, funding is available, approved and site and design are approved. There was mentioned about 10 proposals infact the proposal has already been chosen and approved but as mentioned they will not yet release design.
This is the stadium that will host final match of Euro 2012.
Regarding Arsenal and Dinamo it is all talk and if any work has started on these two 'dream' stadiums by 2010 I will be surprised.

Well Dynamo officials have mentioned that the reconstruction of Lobanovskyi stadium is impossible, and so they have requested for a land in a city to construct the new arena (now i presume that the new kyiv stadium will be funded and later owned by the club). Arsenal has recently been taken over and so presently they are constructing a new training facility and are looking into construction of their own arena.

Well, this seems to be the approved project, however as the cotractor for the reconstruction is still in shadow (Hochtief?) new pojects and "visions" seem to pop up all the time..

I have to agree, however it's difficult to make it into a mega arena just by reconstructing it... It's still an Olympic stadium so such features as running tracks have to be present..

Of course... beeing five star is a requirement for final venues of Euro, or WC in Europe... Stade de France, Amsterdam Arena, Olimpiastadion, Da Luz, and Olimpiyskyi... that is actually the reason why the mall in front of the stadium is beeing demolished, so the stadium can be evacuated in a certain amount of time.
