Hi Chictown, thanks for your recommendation. Yes, I've heard about Serendra and it's really nice. I love the large expanse of gardens. I think a unit facing Bonifacio High Street would be nice too.

I've read a few back pages of this Crescent Park. I like the floor plan. I could be wrong but it seems like most units have the "corner-unit feel" because of more larger windows. I like the idea.

Everything's up in the air right now. It's only been 3 months since his passing. There's a lot of things to do. The condo purchase is in the back our minds. We did purchase Aston unit for rental purposes. Turnover is 2012 pa!

It's difficult to get rid of the house especially in our area which is walking distance to the hospital and parish. A few minutes drive to the restaurants, gyms and grocery stores (3-5 minutes max on medium traffic). Just 15 minutes to Trinoma and SM North Edsa. But most importantly is the future development of the QC-CBD which is 10 minutes away from our house. If ever we get to sell some properties (crossing fingers), we can develop our lot into a couple of townhomes which sell fast in this area. So we have decided to hold onto the house for now.

But living in the condo is still in the back of our minds. It would be great if we just have both! Just like you still kept your house in QC.

I'm visualizing how BGC will be once all those high rise buildings are up. Don't you think traffic will be a big problem by then?

Anyway, I have very hyper small dogs so I'm sure living in a condo will be a riot (and hopefully not a nuisance to my neighbors!).

Yes, The Fort is really fun for gimmicks although; just like my nick, traveling is now my gimmick. Out of town, within the Philippines and out the country - I am obviously a travelbug.

I used to live in QC also...very near Q.Ave. Been going to our old house on weekends, but its been getting more and more traffic there...and I really hate the fact that Q.Ave does not have lines on the street anymore, and everyone is left guessing where the lanes are.

In anycase, not because we build condos here, but I really love living in BGC. The space will be a bit of an issue if you are used to a house, but for sure, the quality of life is much better here compared to QC. The big difference here is that the neighborhood is still very pedestrian friendly, compared to QC. Walking your dog will surely be better...but make sure the building admin is not against dogs. If you have a dog, a balcony is very important (DAW, as my friend who has a dog says). Also, the convenience of having so many places to choose from, and all are very close by is also a big convenience.

Oh, and one thing I noticed...when I used to live in QC, I used to be the one to have to go to other people's house to meet up for gimmicks. Now, being in Fort, they are now the ones who come to visit! hehe! A lot more convenient talaga!
