I like this bitchy jab at Axis, Tower 88, and 360. Haha.

Guys, I'm really really sorry. I have some issues that need to be resolved with my wedding coming up this weekend, and won't be able to make it to Teske's tomorrow. I'll up the ante and promise to buy two rounds for people whenever we meet up in Sept. (Going to be out of town until Aug. 21st). Sorry guys :/

Ok, well how about we shoot for late Aug/early Sept? I'll consult my co-host (aka Happy_in_San _Jose) and set something up.

And congratulations, man! Dont believe the hype, marriage rocks!

Congrats Josh, we're so proud of you. Anywhoo, has anyone visited the SJ Redvelopment Department's website lately? Check out under North SJ Task Force and click the "presentation" link. Their stats and proposals are quite over the top. We're going to cram a city the size of mountain view onto such a small area. Good luck with that.

Postponing.

Open to date suggestions for late August or early Sept. I think people said Tuesdays were best.

The Boston Properties description in the monthly report actually says that construction could start on 1 or all 3 of the buildings in 2008. I thought all of the previous monthly descriptions said that Boston Properties was waiting for the office market in downtown to change.

is your friend dropping any names?? i mean, if it's not another developer it must be one of the bigger valley companies...probably one already based in san jose...that's doing very well...

it's got to be someone really REALLY big in order to occupy all three buildings. Traffic is going to snarl in downtown in the next 5 years. I'm glad SR 87 is doing all they can now to prepare to accommodate these new cars. I hope Foster Towers really get the ball rolling. Same with Northpoint. Looks like Our skyline will grow Grow GROW!

That's to be understood as "one buyer for all three towers," yes?

he wont tell me names.. but he said that its a large valley company that is interested in moving to downtown sj.. problem is that they want their offices downtown and they need 3 million sq. ft. and they want their R&D on north first street.. SJRA is having a hard time finding them that much land to build downtown.. he said that talks have been going very well and that they have been very interested in the boston site and the surrounding area...

Maybe HP is no longer happy in PA. He did say that it would be their headquarters moving down if they decided to come..
