In India there's some "street view" on monuments and enclosed places, not on roads.

It's pedestrian, formerly railway. There are two of those kind - pedestrian bridges made of parts of old disassembled railway bridges. Another one is Pushkinsky/Andreevsky bridge in Park Gorkogo.

Are they doing something about radial local roads in Moscow, which are 1+1 laned and extremely congested, like A101, Volokolamskoe shosse, A105, widen A104? Are they going to improve extremely bad roads (in a 15 million person city), for example M8 or M7?

Volokolamskoe shosse got upgraded to 2+2 and 3+3 expressway a couple of dozens years ago as a new route between Moscow and Volokolamsk. It's being upgraded to 4+4 (50-83 km) and 5+5 (17-50 km) motorway currently. It's called Novorizhskoe shosse, or M9. Despite retaining its name, highway, Volokolamskoe shosse is no longer a highway, but just an urban street, avenue, which turns into a provincial road at the end of agglomeration. It's not 1+1 as well. It's 2+2 little but further of Istra with little 3+3 motorway section in Pavshino.

Kaluzhskoe shosse, A101, is planned to be completely rebuilt. Construction of first 7 km 4+4/5+5 section will begin soon.

A105 is already 2+2 motorway on entire route.

A104 is 2+2 road till Dmitrov. It's planned to receive complete redevelopment to motorway as well. Section within Moscow borders got upgraded already. New MKAD bypass – 226 proezd (226th bystreet) and section between MKAD and Moscow provice partially elevated (2 flyovers).

M8 is already 2+2 expressway/motorway for a 100km. There is a little section left with few more flyovers and junctions to be, and currently being build.

M7 will get a new route between MKAD and Noginsk, as current goes through densely builtup area and turned to be an urban street, avenue, rather than highway. 4km section of Kosinskoe shosse with massive junction with MKAD has been built already. Rest, though, is in long terms. They are working on another side, within MKAD, on urban motorway connection of Kossinskoe shosse with new M11 Moscow – Saint Petersburg motorway. There are few junctions planned to be build on Gor'kovskoe shosse, yet it much less than needed.

What is the current status of the CKAD / ЦКАД outer beltway of Moscow? The last I heard was that construction was suppose to start in 2014.

Thank you! Are there plans to extend M9? Also, I know about plans to rebuilt M8 near Moscow to 5+5/6+6, but further north it seems to remain as a veru congested urban street! Though seen the 2030 plan to extend the motorway all the way to Vologda; Google Maps shows there's something going on possibly on the 1+1-sections of M8. Where there is a MKAD by-pass? Google Maps has not been updated? It shows A104 inside Moscow as a street with 2 geometrically bad fly-overs. The road to Domodedovo seems also substandard, what are they going to do about that? It would be logical to figure out that Soviets would had built a proper road network, like North Korea.

When wil ZKAD start, and will there be a second ring around St. Petersburg? Thank you for answering!

M9 and M8 are not planned to go beyond of Moscow province as motorways in current (short and short-mid) plans. There are lots of long-term plans, but just plans. M9 is being widened a bit and resurfaced in Tver' province.

MKAD bypass is 300 meters west of Dmitrovskoye shosse/MKAD intersection. There are three flyovers. One starts right after MKAD, another is around 5km from MKAD. And third is still u/c between them, right after first. They also rebuilding Dmitrovskoye shosse/MKAD junction. You can see imagery on Google Earth from feb-march 2013. Maps of Google Maps gets updated rarely.

What substandard – it's narrow, straight, 2+2 with lighting and barriers?

It seems like it needs to be 3+3 or 4+4, at least according to imagery of Google. Is it possible to get information about AADT of Moscow roads?
