I didn't know she was half-Moroccan. She is also the girlfriend of Moroccan-French Comic Legend Jamel Debouz!

She is also the most popular News Anchor in Youtube

Yeah I know...Didn't Jamel Debbouze just get married like three years ago?

She's absolutely gorgeous! I am not sure she's half-Moroccan but maybe her children will be. Of course we'll claim them fully

Welcome John! Should we do a Russian welcome dance for you?

She's wearing way too much makeup on that picture. She has a terrific voice. Here is a song from her

This video is of the hottest Moroccans ever. Cute pre-school kids singing and dancing chaabi and Berber styles. Sorry for those who can't understand the lyrics because they are hillarious

She sings in the same way the Israeli singer Ofra Haza used to. Unfortunately she died a few years back.
And I wish we have more such women here.

That style of tune is similar to Malhoon which is dominant in cities like Fez! where there were there many jews in the last century & still to this day. Maybe they are really related.

Morocco is pretty different from the Morocco you'd see on US TV!

I remember seeing some years ago a 15second speed take on Morocco on Access Hollywood before interviewing some famous guy (I dont remember who) staying in Marakesh!

They only showed Camels, Souks, & Desert

an image different from the overall Morocco! an image more compatible with the 1001 nights and the stereotypical arabia.

There are also similarily Moroccans who think USA is full of guns, cow boys, huricanes, bling bling land & that 99% of American girls look like Britney Spears, back in her glory days

I said cities LIKE fez :P (i.e. Mekness :P)

isn't 3ayta more like a cha3bi genre!?? why do they say "3ayta dawdia"?

I am not an expret in Moroccan music anyhow That was just to shade some connection possibly between that style of Asmaa Mnaouer music style and sephardic music!

I know stereotypes are all powerful. And I wish more girls in USA look like Britney Spears, back in her glory days. Now she is Muchos Uglyios
I knew that there are no that many camels and desert in Morocco, but I was surprised to see women dressed in such a way in Muslim country. I was under influence of information from Iran and Saudi Arabia - so my judgment was impaired by it.
If you are going to go into "Wild West" USA you will exactly what you just described: guns, cowboys, hurricanes and twisters, salt deserts, huge amount of blond women (don't ask me why - I think there is a clone factory for them, though I prefer brunettes) and all the rest of regular stereotypes that you heard of. All of it is available to see in states like New Mexico and Arizona for example. You are welcome to check it out - it is quite amusing.

Thanks!

I think also for Saudi Arabia & Iran (& I dont know since I never went there) that it is also just an overstretched stereotype!

Super-conservative areas do exist also in Morocco. In Essaouira city you'd see all women outside wearing white ninja veil! while in cities like Marrakesh, Agadir, or Casablanca you can see some girls wearing G-Strings & what not of the kind! & more so a mixture of both, conservative & provocative.

Congratulation to Zineb Okach.

Amina Al Alam looks alright! I hope she wins. She reminds me of a French actress or model but I can't remember her name. Btw, Is this her?
