This looks very good. Is this project really going to be build in a forrest (as the renders show), or is that just a marketing trick or something?

We should start by saying there is no forest anywhere close to Shymkent. In fact, the complex will be built in central Shymkent in an urban setting.

The 2006 estimate was 539,600, which places Shymkent third after Astana and Almaty.

Shymkent once laid at the crossroads of two continents between Europe, Asia, and India and was an important ancient trade outpost(See Silk Road).

Today Shymkent is a rapidly developing financial and industrial center in Southern Kazakhstan. It is somewhat known internationally for its pharmaceutical products, but the city hosts other important industries such as textiles, zinc and lead refineries, and an oil refinery to name a few.
