Jack Nicklaus golf course will develop the Songdo

Posco, the global R & D center in New Songdo groundbreaking ceremony

Yigutaek steelmaker POSCO Chairman, Incheon Mayor Ahn Sang-soo and attended by approximately 200 middle 'POSCO global R & D Center' to have a groundbreaking ceremony yesterday.

I agree, it is a shame that there are the commie blocks, but hopefully they'll later be replaced with nicer residential towers.


The bridge looks so imposing in the pictures. I would go just to see it and drive on it.

Actually, the apartment buildings in Songdo are a little bit better than the standard commie block stuff. There are variations in height, a few architectural detail, and some wonderful park space around them. The apartments themselves are super nice.

^ They look like modern commie blocks built in Korea nowadays, nothing special I can see. It's better than the korean commie blocks built in the 70s, if this is what you mean..

Yeah they look good close up, but from a birds-eye view or a skyline view they don't look very good.

They're up there. For example, 2,146 apartments in the 1st World Towers were sold for US$1 billion. That's an average of US$466,000 an apartment.
