Yeah, I put my pics also on panoramio, but not all of them are on there yet, since it's quite a job to upload and geotag 15.000 pictures

I'm not in Switzerland right now.

I don't think they are new...

What I really miss in Switzerland is the lack of road numbers for non-motorways. Only some really important roads have roadnumbers, but regional roads do not have them.

Hello. You mean the Exit number?
In pics above is Nr.36?

Those are not "new"... But what will happen when they build a new EXIT in middle?

@ChrisZwolle:

Can you tell me your Panoramio account?
Mine is: http://www.panoramio.com/user/162195

And You know you can geotag your pictures automatically with a GPS Logger?

I ordered this one: Columbus V900 (about 110$)

You can put in a 2GB MicroSD Card. And it will log enough long!.

You only must set the right Time in your Digital camera.

Then you put your log file into a program and all your pictures, and press "Automatically Geo tagging"

And each Picture have then the GPS Data in the EXIF!
You can upload them to Panoramio and you don't need to place them there on the map.

Also you can see your routes on Goolge Earth.

Greets from Zürich

Nils

Funny, we use FlickR geotaggers at my work. I believe they are about a hundred euros. But we don't use them to geotag pictures, but to registrer travel times with public transportation and cars.

yes, i meant those. and when new exit is built, it simply gets a letter added. for instance, 36a

very insteresting clip for us who haven't passed there yet! tell me, those green expressway signs, are they normal in CH or you have blue expressway signs, too? and all those lorries waiting at entrances to tunnel - are they obligatory to have escort, or only those with special cargo have to have escort?

Thank you. We have green signs for Highways. EXIT signs are blue.
But when you follow green signs then you will drive to highway.

The trucks must wait there. They have a drop system. So with the car you can drive there fast, if there is no jam. But trucks must wait may a few hours.

And in the night its not allowed to drive for trucks. Only some special can, like Post, Military. But no chargo.

I hope you understand what I mean. my english is bad ;-)

Well this sign mean "Autostrasse" =max. 100km/h. Or here is 80 because its danger.
Because it only 1 lane in one direction and have no secure milde.
But yes here they are green. In germany or so they are blue instead.

Another video showing from Zürich to the Highway.

Was this picture taken from a motorcycle? The positions of the mirror and some sort of window appear to be very strange for a car.
