Is there why a reason there is a mix between metric and imperial? How silly -- that just gets confusing!

This could be anywhere in the Miami/Fort Lauderdale metro area.

What's the latest story on that gap between Peuelas and the end of the PR 52 tollway at Ponce? From aerial images it even looks like a right of way is already preserved for it.

PR-2 from between Peuelas and Ponce is being converted into a freeway, only 1 intersection left.

PR-2 in San Germn has been upgraded to freeway standards and PR-2 in Hormigueros has 1 more intersection left...

More pics from San Juan:

The day Puerto Rico gains the full statehood, Lou Dobbs will have a heart attack

BTW, if Puerto Rico indeed becomes a 51st state, will English language be mandatory on Puerto Rican road signs?

wel, here in Mexico we call it lateral lane, its two or three lanes that run paralel to the freeway and have acces to the shops or commerce on sides.

In most of the USA, those are referred to as 'frontage roads' or sometimes 'access roads'. In much of Texas, those ubiquitous frontage roads along their freeways and tollways are often called 'feeders'.
