I know it's not everybody's favorite but I love this bldg. First time I saw this monster I was maybe 4-6 and I just thought how amazing..... wondered why every city didn't have one like that. A classic..... simple and bold yet an example of ingeniuity at its best. It's just my style of bldg

10/10. Sears Tower's cousin has its own style. I'm glad those cross steel bars keep John Hancock standing when excessive steel weight wasn't necessary. And the best views of Lake Michigan that are often blocked by Hancock itself viewed from Sears. Good thing it is residential too: if I had a million dollars and hate sprawling mansions, I would buy an apartment in this one. This is the other building in Chi-Town other buildings bow down to.
