I know it's not everybody's favorite but I love this bldg. First time I saw this monster I was maybe 4-6 and I just thought how amazing..... wondered why every city didn't have one like that. A classic..... simple and bold yet an example of ingeniuity at its best. It's just my style of bldg

Excellent architecture. 9/10. This would be better looking in Tokyo in my opinion.

Agressive, masculine looking. The Xs and twin goalpost antennae are iconic. 8/10.

10/10. Sears Tower's cousin has its own style. I'm glad those cross steel bars keep John Hancock standing when excessive steel weight wasn't necessary. And the best views of Lake Michigan that are often blocked by Hancock itself viewed from Sears. Good thing it is residential too: if I had a million dollars and hate sprawling mansions, I would buy an apartment in this one. This is the other building in Chi-Town other buildings bow down to.

i took these ones in july this year

The first photo i took of a skyscraper in my trip...

well this one was the very first...from a cab going to my uncles flat

i couldn't cope with emotion

tremble to the power of the Xs

yeah...JHC is THE skyscraper

probably the best photograph i've ever taken of a building..taken from the street

from the beach

forget sears...hancock is here to rule

yeah...and it won't move

i love it's slim angle...its better

From the pedestrian side at LSD
