Guys, official website says the capacity is 34 858, not 40+. This would mean it will grow by only some 500 seats compared to the old one. Any comment on that? Is that a change or depends on the way they count the seats? But even if, there's only 200 VIP seats and 680 media ones if I see correct. so still a lot less.

I suppose. From the looks of newer renderings I guess the one being built has only one tier which would make it difficult to have 40+

thanks, though I hoped some of our Ukrainian friends would clear this out. As for changes - I think the thread name should be furtther changed because its no longer a Euro 2012 reserve venue, it has been ruled out in May, just like Dniepropietrovsk, Krakow and Chorzow. According to Platini, there is no option for these to get back in the game so, unless it was agreed somewhere before to leave it as a sign of what was reserve, I would suggest to drop the Euro 2012 thing in these 4 stadiums.

Donetsk im sure will be chosen since they are like 98% complete with their stadium. Kharkiv also will probably join since they are soon going to wrap up their construction.

By the way, i wouldnt be so sure about Donetsk coz they've got nothing beside stadium. No infrastructure

There haven't been any updates in ages, not even on the Ukrainian forum. I have even been searching almost everywhere and couldn't find anything. I wonder how the construction of this stadium is going.

We don't know that, It will be decided on the 30th of November. Although this is a reserve arena but still.
