Construction of roads financed by public and private partnership (concession)

highway Krakoveć (border PL) - Ľviv:

lenghth: 84,4 km
construction: 2009-2012
whole investment: 610 mln USD

- national government: 135 mln USD (22%)
- private investors: 475 mln USD (78%)
Amount of investment:

M09: 0,28 mln USD pro 1 km

M19: 0,18 mln USD pro 1 km

Highway Krakoveć - Ľviv: 7,22 mln USD pro 1 km

So the first two must be "only" maintenance works and the last one building of new four-lane highway.

I see nothing at all to be ridiculed regarding the road conditions that you were showing in Ukraine. Commerce was NOT a major priority of the commies and it has simply taken this country longer than others to emerge from that past. Following the progress of the reconstructions and upgrades is VERY INTERESTING.

What I see is not at all unlike what was found in the former East Germany right after the 'Wall' fell.

Build on!

I do not too, but the question is how we (Poland + Ukraine) are supposed to have a good road network before euro 2012?

112 new kilometers of first-class road in Ukraine opened today, it almost completely covers Kharkiv-Dnipropetrovsk route, both Euro2012 cities. It's 20 km shorter than the previous road. 20 bridges were reconstructed along the way.

Here are some pics made by polish forumer, some first pics show polish DK 4.

Wylotowka z centrum miasta wielkosci Krakowa w strone stolicy.

Dziura takiej wielkosci to we Lwowie standard.

Moze o namalowaniu pasow?

Sygnalizator na skrzyzowaniu tez jest BARDZO widoczny.

Wiec kazdy jedzie tak jak chce.

Skrzyzowanie z E372 w strone Lublina i Warszawy.

Gora idzie droga do Lublina.

Dalsza czesc wylotowki na Kijow.

I nawet pasy ktos namalowal.

Eleganckie pobocze.

Pas do skretu w prawo (musialem z niego skorzystac) - 1. klasa.

P39 - calkiem przyzwoita droga, ruch niewielki.

Pozytyw wizyty w Samborze to benzyna.

Fajna nawierzchnia.

Przejazd przez wies.

I dwa ostatnie widoki cudownej nawierzchni.

I nie dziwmy sie, ze mozemy im zaimponowac naszymi drogami.

Dziekuje za uwage.
