For now, traffic volumes on most Ukrainian roads do not require fully grade-separated freeways. Besides that, Ukraine is not that wealthy, so 2x2 expressways with future space for grade-separation is a good first step to a nationwide first class road system.

Sadly completion of these motorways is sci-fi at the moment and in future years too

Still I think routes to main cities, which will host the tournament, will be covered at least with good asphalt!

Ukraine on Google Earth

There was something waiting for several years, the Ukrainian Internet users. Finally something, Google detailed map of Ukraine. Details of all roads of Ukraine, the streets of major cities is still in Google Earth.

Great! I see Google Earth classifies all main roads as motorways though...

M-06, the best route in Ukraine

<iframe width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.pl/?ie=UTF8&amp;ll=48.53753,22.486551&amp;spn=0.001986,0.007703&amp;t=h&amp;z=18&amp;output=embed"></iframe><br /><small><a href="http://maps.google.pl/?ie=UTF8&amp;ll=48.53753,22.486551&amp;spn=0.001986,0.007703&amp;t=h&amp;z=18&amp;source=embed" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">Wyświetl większą mapę</a></small>

Looks like M-06 between Uzhorod and Mukaceve is being modified to really good standards of 2X2 national road

<iframe width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.pl/?ie=UTF8&amp;ll=48.532798,22.501395&amp;spn=0.003971,0.015407&amp;t=h&amp;z=17&amp;output=embed"></iframe><br /><small><a href="http://maps.google.pl/?ie=UTF8&amp;ll=48.532798,22.501395&amp;spn=0.003971,0.015407&amp;t=h&amp;z=17&amp;source=embed" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">Wyświetl większą mapę</a></small>

Doubling the road and bypassing

<iframe width="425" height="350" frameborder="0" scrolling="no" marginheight="0" marginwidth="0" src="http://maps.google.pl/?ie=UTF8&amp;ll=48.524705,22.50809&amp;spn=0.003972,0.015407&amp;t=h&amp;z=17&amp;output=embed"></iframe><br /><small><a href="http://maps.google.pl/?ie=UTF8&amp;ll=48.524705,22.50809&amp;spn=0.003972,0.015407&amp;t=h&amp;z=17&amp;source=embed" style="color:#0000FF;text-align:left">Wyświetl większą mapę</a></small>

M-06 is with no doubt one of the top Ukrainian magistrales, after M-05

We can assume that some works on motorway E50 at south of Uman (M-05) have started, according to 2008 Collins Road Atlas, surely towards Dnipropetrovsk

First section of E50 motorway ready ?

In my ADAC 2009/2010 Reiseatlas there is northern bypass of Dnipropetrovsk... shown as motorway ! (Novomoskovk-Pavlohrad).

According to GE it is limited access road with interchanges

There is no A267, it's old soviet numbering

There are plans to construct M-10 motorway but there are several problems with it, god know when construction can start

You mean that Krakovets - L'viv motorway?

I've seen some plans of it, but never seen any construction updates. I doubt if they're building it at all.

I should have known that (A267 numbering).

anyway, looks like both sides (Poland & Ukraine) counter similar problems. as I can understand A2 Kraków-Korczowa is becoming a question mark as well.
