I had never thought about a downtown area Target, but that would be great. I would really like to see a large urban oriented development like that on one of the vacant lots on Academy Street. There seems to be a lot of land around there which is ripe for development. This location would extend the downtown area, and would obviously require something urban with a parking garage. I wonder what it would take for us to pull this off?
![]() I also see us easily able to support a second Starbucks downtown. What about having one near the Hyatt at the corner of Main and Beattie?

I Can pull a few strings to try to get a message from target because I really think you guys can support another targest if Spartanburg can. Im a visionary so I do stuff like this all the time. I e-mail target and ask are they intersted in another location there they say we are looking at other areas without our stores and but we would be intersted in other stores in youre area. At one time a company really did a serious email to me about a movie theater in a downtown location but something happend to my computer and messed me up.

A Starbucks in the bottom of the Ogletree building would get people to cross Beattie. But, that's right, this building has no retail on the ground level...

YES ANOTHER G-MAN ANOTHER.
BUT I WOULD LIKE IT TO RESEMBLE MORE A FLAGSHIP STARBUCKS FOR THE EAST COAST. We really already have two Flagships in downtown michelin (not classified as a flagship but seems to be one due to it being the worlds first and only) and dd is opening a offical flagship so starbucks is good, we need to aim at one department store flagship. If target were to build in downtown where should it be and how should it look historic, modern, suburban (HELL NO). In fact downtown is already working on two other starbucks Main at Mcbee (i think thats the one on hold thats 7 levels correct me if im wrong on the name of the building) and Courtyard by Marriot is planning a starbucks breakfest location. so that will be three already so a 4th would be preety hard to do. If there were a new shopping area in downtown built i would like for it to include Barnes and Nobels (relocation from laurens road), Target that would be around 90,000 to 130,000 sq ft, starbucks (flagship), waffle house (for you g-man but im just playing), a 15,000 sq ft grocery store( to total downtown with 2 grocery stores), I wish ikea would build locations that dosent have furniture in it but just a order center or a satillite location for charlotte's new ikea, one or two out let stores, and lots of upscale local stores and restaurants, or maybe greenville's second ruth chris's (this could really happen though because downtown is a regional draw so it could support one, and the other could be for more locals). what do you say i dont live there so the closet thing i can look at is live maps for locations.

We're getting a flagship Dunkin Donuts downtown that will open within the next month or two.
There is a Starbuck's for Courtyard by Marriott. I forgot about that. Stick Target in TIC's development I say.

Ok. Raleigh-NC, where did you find this guy?
See what happens when kids get out of high school. They go on the forums and start acting like g-man.

Chicora is an eight story condominium building proposed for Rhett Street between River Street and Camperdown Way. The sales center which is located on Main Street in the West End next to Munchies should open later this month.
