San Raphael Re-design by DB Designs Ltd
Standing at 133meter's high, with 32 floors, this is my redesign of the scrapped San Raphael Tower which was supposed to be built at the Point Water front, sticking to strict height restrictions & area architecture code, this is what I managed to come up with. what you guys think?
The 1st 10 floors make up the hotel segment of the building & at level 11, is the pool deck & roof garden. The rest of the floors up to level 32 are apartments with the last 3 level being double volume penthouses. In the back of the building is a 9 level under cover car park for both hotel & residents use. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

i didnt liked very much the building. But if i understood correctly, it was not you who designed it?? You just re-created it from some renders you saw?
if so, good work, cuz the building is very detailed with all those curves and must have given some headache to finish. btw, nice sky background picture! Where did you find it? |

Actualy the whole design is mine. from top to bottom, everything about it.
There was a proposed tower in the Durban point: http://www.internationalpropertysolu...hael/index.asp but it got scrapped, something about sales & other stuff, so sticking to the area's code & height restrictions I designed something that I felt would fit in the area, its not the most glamorous thing you going to see, but it fits with the profile. The sky picture I just found on google images, just type in "sky" & you will get tons of pic's I agree, it is a nice picture hence I use it alot
