I dont think the name is Park Hyatt anymore, from skyscaperpage.com it says R&F Yinkai Square, and its also shown above. Should the name be changed?

So the name has been changed like I asked, but is it still going to be a hotel that will be run by Park Hyatt or is becoming office?

This photo here that Zwamborn posted is just incredible, if only CT was in it, it would be perfect..

Also great pics above Forum, the more I see the Canton tower (the spiraling lattice work is Just Phenomenal) the more I'm impressed with it, this city and all it's other wonderful buildings![/QUOTE]

According to Hyatt, they will open 4th quarter of this year.

Here is their website:

Goettsch-Designed R&F Yingkai Square Completed in Guangzhou

Quote:
China is engulfed in skyscraper mania. The world's largest country by population, it's only natural that vertical cities are increasingly being seen as the answer to limited land and a burgeoning population. Located on the Pearl River just northwest of Hong Kong, the city of Guangzhou is one of numerous Chinese cities receiving its fair share of new skyscrapers. The most recently completed tower also ranks as the seventh tallest in the city.
