Anybody catch the Ravens reference on the TV show American Dad the other night? One of the characters dies and then makes a deal with the devil to come back to life. When he comes back to life as a worshiper of Satan, he mentions that he is a Ravens fan.

Thanks for letting me know. lol.

What I'm getting at is that they represent the city, and not the state. The Redskins are the deserved home team in Most of Mont. and P.G. County.

Wow. The Skins really did everything they could to lose against the Packer's. I'm sure they're all satisfied with getting the result they wanted.......

I think he's come a long way in the last couple of years...he doesn't look as tentative out there like he did in 2005. And you're right..he's tough. Took a couple of good licks Sunday and got right back in the saddle. Now it's time to "Shuffle off to Buffalo"!!

I am gaining more confidence with Boller. He needs more experience in handling the pressure and quickly locating his receivers. This will come with time on the field. He has the ability to make some big plays in crucial situations. Just need to get his timing. This weekend should give him that opportunity and prepare for the top tier teams coming after the bye.

Amazing how the schedule worked out this year. The way it was arranged the Ravens should have been 7 -0 going into Pittsburgh on 11/5.

Skins beat Arizona! Next game, the New England Patriots! No problem, should be a cakewalk!

So glad I drafted Brady in both of my fantasy leagues...

Ugly performance by the Ravens. If we had Heap and McAlister yesterday, I think we win, tho.

Mr. Sip-noo-skee must not have the full complement of fingers or something. Ivy was terrible and Rolle is average at best. (Fine for covering #2 WRs, not for #1 WRs.)

How badly will the Redskins suck this Sunday?

As of now skins are 16 point underdogs against the pats. How many points do you think they'll lose by? Two touchdowns? Three?? Or will they make it a game by only losing by 5 points or less? Or are you one of those forever optimistic people who actually think they can win?

The 'Skins will put up a noble effort, but they can't stop the Brady Express.

If we have McAlister, we probably don't give up those big plays on offense (hard to watch). I could have sworn that Peerless Price was actually playing against Ivy, but it wasn't. We can commit more to the run when Chris is in there, too.

On the other side of the ball, with Heap in there, we're throwing it to him short and he's reliable. Now, I don't think Brian had any business calling passes on 2nd, 3rd, AND 4th with one yard to go, but at least with Heap in there, we could have passed to him and gotten it or run behind him and gotten it with Musa.

And that game was probably the most crucial all season, given that we've lost to Cleveland AND Cincy and the remaining schedule is what it is.

So far as Washington goes vs. the Patriots in Foxborough, well, at least they have the Jets and Eagles the following two weeks.

my god that was ugly. Well, look at the bright side, at least the skins didn't get shut out. Almost did though. I'm betting Joe Gibbs wished right now he had stayed retired and just stuck with the nascar gig.

Well, can't say I'm totally surprised. Although I did think the skins would put up more of a fight. Joe Gibbs is a brilliant football tactician, but maybe the critics are right, maybe the game has passed Joe Gibbs by and now his techniques are considered outdated. Doesn't make me respect the man less though. He gave us skins fans three superbowl trophies and we'll forever be grateful for that.

I blame the move to Fedex Field (nee Jack Kent Cooke Stadium) in '97. The Squire (may he rest in peace) muffed that one, and a lot of good 'Skins mojo went by the wayside. A decade of futility ensued. Not to mention the sale to Danny Boy, the Peter Angelos of the Capital Beltway.

No bitterness here. Why do you ask?

Well, its not NFL related, but Navy had a good day. After 44 years, they FINALLY beat Notre Dame.

Oh, and Maryland Football sucks btw.

Gibbs can't be blame a whole lot more than Saunders or Williams. They have a lot of power themselves, Gibbs doesn't even have the fully hands on approach and has top level coordinators doing most of the tactical stuff. I think the whole game passed him by thing is something people conveniently like to say b/c he's been away, but it doesn't make a whole lot of sense, it almost seems like a lazy excuse.

Well, that probably is true. But I'm not really all that confident that the skins will even make the playoffs this year. It took 'em overtime to beat one of the worst teams in the league. I'm just hoping they can come out with at least an 8-8 record.

Last night was probably the worst football game I have seen in 5 years from this team.

After a bye, that was the best the Ravens could do? LOL

wtf?

McNair is finished, Pittman/Ivy/Martin will never be starting CBs in the NFL, and Billick should be put on notice for this BS. Sticking with a QB that has obviously lost it? What the hell are you thinking, Brian? There go the playoffs!
