Man last night was ugly. Ravens were butt raped! The skins got butt raped too but at least they were butt raped by the best team in the league; to get embarrased by the 5-2 Steelers, on a Monday night even, with the whole country watching! Reminded me of those southwest airlines commercials Wanna get away?

Sad to see the Ravens get manhandled, but it did wonders for my fantasy football team -- I have Santonio Holmes and Heath Miller. Pulled off a miraculous 40-point surge to win my matchup this week by two points.

terrible game last night. we LOST as a team. two mcnair turnovers, ed reed fumble on the kickoff, mcgahee fumble, and so on.....

know what i find funny? after the buffalo loss, i was sitting back patiently waiting for you to make a comment about boller's sad performance, and you didn't. and now after last night's game, you have a mouthful to say.

i guess the point i'm making is this.........if you're gonna' judge BOTH qb's, somehow find it in your heart to do it fairly. frankly, i don't think you can. you're sad.

i'm not sure if we can win with neither qb at this point. our confidence is shot. and then on top of everything, we have the three games from HELL coming up (san diego, indianapolis back-to-back-to-back). after seeing the patriots decapitate the redskins, NO ONE wants to play new england.

WTF?

Firstly, Boller's performance wasn't sad. I'll give you the numbers to refute that.

Secondly, given that one performance was actually decent while another was freaking horrible, the "fairness" argument is a straw man that's only applicable if one is on ACID & doesn't know jack about football.

21 of 36 for 191 yards, 1 TD with no turnovers and an 82.1 QB rating

vs.

13 of 22 for 63 yards (NFL record low for 13+ completions), 0 TD 1INT, 2fumbles and a 44.9 QB rating.

Gee, which one do you think any rational person would have a problem with?

Thirdly, who the f*** are you? You don't know me, you don't know my tendencies, and to call me "sad" for the absence of a comment says infinitely more about you than you can possibly know. Maybe save all your assessments for development, hmm? Because you've just shown your ass here.

No clue. I politely disagreed with him a few pages back & apparently he's been carrying a grudge.

"Notre Dame is not the place to learn how to be a college head coach. It didn't work for Gerry Faust or Bob Davie. It's not working for Mr. Charlie. As fun as it might sound, you don't want to lose your virginity to Jenna Jameson. You won't last long. She'll get bored and frustrated. And everyone who sees the tape will fall down laughing. Sounds like most Notre Dame games this year, doesn't it?"

thats deep...

Throwing unwarranted personal insults in a discussion previously limited to football isn't "civil", chief. People will disagree with you more often than they agree with you or kiss your ass. Get used to it & grow up.

Suzy Kolber, Jenna Jameson, and violent smileys. Who needs Hollywood writers? Hold on while I get a beer and a comfy chair ...

... alright, let 'er rip.

Guys!! Come on now!! It's just a game!! I'm a football fan too, but it's not to the extreme that you guys are taking it to. Let's put an end to this right now! I think we play Cincinnati or Cleveland this Sunday and let's hope for the best.

Somebody should - you're the only one in on the joke. I have no idea what the hell you're all pissed off about, but it's obviously personal.=

What the fuck are you talking about? Enough of this nonsense. Back this up or drop the charade. Quote, please. Link, please.

If you're the only one carrying a grudge between two people, perhaps the issue is with you. I didn't insult you anywhere until you jumped all in my sh*t because I don't share your irrational anti-Boller view. Then you come back with the news that somehow you've formed an opinion of me prior that I'm ignorant. Given that you & I have spoken a grand total of zero times, I find that particularly telling of your level of intelligence. Maybe you get off on ambushing people & reading their justifiably angry response? Who knows? All I know is there's nothing I have ever said to you that warranted your personal attack. That puts you square in the wrong, unless you can provide some kind of justification.

please remember, though...

McNair went up against the #1 Defense in the NFL, and on Monday Night Football.

Boller went up against the #29 Defense in the NFL, and the game had less intensity since it was not a division rivalry game.

What I'm saying is, they both suck, and Troy Smity mind as well go out there and give it a shot and hopefully get him ready for the future.

The way this season is going, no playoffs.
