The idea is good, but whats the point in puting all towers lining near the chanel. Seems to me a copy of Dubay, but here in Lagos the towers are put together on a main chanel. Any way its a good thing for Lagos.

THE TRUE MEGACITY FOR LAGOS

the issue of megacities is an oppurtunity for us, the inhabitants of these cities to rethink proffesionalism. the population of the third world city lagos is to grow an unpreceedented 9million in the next few years art the rate of 21 people to the hour. at such a scale of growth, the concepts that define the boundaries of our cities are inadequate. the health and public transport sectors in lagos have collapsed... is there anyone ready to rethink the components of the megacity with me? the development shown here is a whimsical dream... how do we reconcile the true facts on ground(base of bridge living, poverty, okobaba etc) with this thing that will only have fitted into any city in Europe in 1950? dont get me wrong. i believe in this megacity project, but its is, in its present state, clearly misdirected

So what do you propose we do? Oh I know, why don't we stop the private sector from doing what they're doing and wait till government comes up with enough money to feed and look after every single citizen(sarcasm). While I'm in favor of public transportation and adequate healthcare you can't say people can't try to make a profit because government hasn't been providing.
