Why only 4-car trains? Isn't it that a train usually has at least 10 - 15car/coaches per train? (See the picture below...)

Hopefully that we can get the DF11G locomotive train. It look so nice, so modern... Unlike the PNR... (not the commuter express )

of course it all depends on the demand... why would you operate 10-car trains when half of the cars are gonna be empty??

and besides, that's 20 sets, surely, we won't have to worry about frequency and congestion... i'm thinking around 10-min headways...

hmmmm... let us see nalang when the northrail opens... let's see if it is efficient, if not, they should add some coaches to increase their efficiency..

Northrail Trip

Let's start the listing and planning for the Northrail trip. November 13, 2010. RIHSPI 3rd anniversary fan trip.


We will hire a service van. Participants will have to share cost of transportation and food. Lunch stop over at Meycauayan.

Day trip only. We will rent a Van. Van will probaby cost 2,500 +/- 500.00.

If 10 will participate, each person will contribute 250.00 +/- 50.00

Food - sponsor by Jhon Alferz Burgg Vilforte a.k.a metal slug of ssc

Start of tour is Malolos then we will follow the ROW to Caloocan. We will request Northrail office visit too if possible.

Northrail Trip

Let's start the listing and planning for the Northrail trip. November 13, 2010. RIHSPI 3rd anniversary fan trip.

in malolos i think almost all piers were already erected except of that in the picture.

I hope so... But i think that kind of concrete spans / girder for high speed rails... not for DMUs...?

Is the Northrail will use sleeper coaches?

sleeper coaches?? no.. i'm guessing it's more like metro type DMUs... the line is around 80km only with travel time of around 1hour to about 1:30 hours...
