The site engineer / Supervisor instructed not to take photography when I asked him. So the last three photos, were taken from the second/first floor window of the building opposite to Royapetah clock tower.

Why the hell photography is not allowed at construction sites? Security reasons or sentiment?

The worst experience I had was with the office bearers of Music academy. They said I have to get permission from the president (Hindu N Ravi). I don't know the logic behind in not allowing photographs of well known landmark buildings. Recently, the DGP office - officer said no to photographs from inside the campus. (I even showed my ID card of my institution and requested that it is for my personal use) So I had to satisfy with the picture of the building taken from across the beach road. With the advance in technology, it is irrational not allowing photography of important buildings for security reasons.isn't it?

1 Karnataka 37,600 crores 30%

3 TN 21000 crores 46.66%
4 AP 18500 crores 47%
5 NCR,Haryana ?? ??
6 Kerala ~1000 crores ??

a city wise ranking of exports would be:

the flyover's meant for traffic from Tambaram side to go towards the city.. so traffic from the city will enter the airport from under the flyover, thus doing away with the existing signal there..

Secondary runway at Chennai airport to be extended

source: http://www.thehindubusinessline.com/...0351501500.htm

It looks like we would just have two parallel runways after the airport expansion. The current secondary runway will be converted to a taxiway connecting the two runways. Also the new runway is going to come on the other side of the adyar river.

how can the existing signal go???

This again confuses me.. so if people from tambaram etc can take the flyover then wot bout people who exit out of the airport... they need to take the road under the flyover is it.. n if that's the case... there will be a signal in any case.. for the people who need to take right to enter the airport and for people who need to go to Guindy from the airport....

am i right???

Regarding the Adyar river, will they deepen and beautify it? It will be good for the river and the citys water table.

No Coconuts trees though!
