நீதிபதி ரகுபதி கூறியதாவது: மதுரையில் ஆணையத்தின் நிரந்தர கிளையை துவக்க, அரசு அனுமதித்துள்ளது. ஜூனில் கிளையை முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா துவக்குவார். ஐகோர்ட் கிளை எல்லைக்கு உட்பட்ட 13 மாவட்ட நுகர்வோர் கோர்ட் உத்தரவுகளை எதிர்க்கும் மேல்முறையீடுகள் விசாரிக்கப்படும். இரு நீதிபதிகள் வழக்குகளை விசாரிப்பர். அவர்களுடன் நானும், வாரத்தில் இரு நாட்கள் வழக்குகளை விசாரிப்பேன். சில மாவட்ட நுகர்வோர் கோர்ட்டுகளில் தலைவர்கள், உறுப்பினர்கள் இல்லை. மதுரை நுகர்வோர் கோர்ட்டில் 700 வழக்குகள் நிலுவையில் உள்ளன. வழக்கமாக கோர்ட்டுகளில் தாக்குலாகும் வழக்குகளை 90 நாட்களுக்குள் முடித்து உத்தரவு பிறப்பிக்க வேண்டும்.
தலைவர், உறுப்பினர் பற்றாக்குறை உட்பட ஓரிரு காரணங்களால், சில கோர்ட்டுகளில் வழக்குகள் நிலுவையில் உள்ளன. இவற்றை தீர்க்க ஆலோசனைகள் வழங்கப்பட்டன. மாவட்ட சட்ட பணிகளுடன் இணைந்து தாலுகா அளவில், நுகர்வோர் சட்டம் குறித்த விழிப்புணர்வு முகாம்கள் நடத்தப்படும். நுகர்வோர் கோர்ட்டுகளுக்கு தேவையான கட்டடங்கள் மற்றும் ஊழியர்களை நியமிக்க முதல்வர் ஜெயலலிதா நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கிறார். அனைத்து குறைகளும் ஜூனுக்குள் தீர்க்கப்படும், என்றார்.

அடிப்படை கடமை : தற்போது மின்பற்றாக்குறை உள்ளது. ஆனால், சில இடங்களில் மாலையில் விரைவாக தெரு விளக்குகளை எரிய விடுகின்றனர். காலையில் தாமதமாக அணைக்கின்றனர். சில இடங்களில் கழிப்பறைகளில் 24 மணிநேரமும் மின்விளக்கு, விசிறிகள் இயக்கப்படுகிறது. இப்போக்கு மாற வேண்டும். தேவைக்கு ஏற்ப, மின்சாரத்தை செலவழிக்க வேண்டும். இந்திய அரசியலமைப்பு சட்டப்படி 15(1(ஏ) குடிமக்களுக்கு சில அடிப்படை கடமைகள் உள்ளன. அதை புரிந்து, மின்சாரம் வீணாவதை தடுத்தால், பற்றாக்குறை ஏற்படாது என, நீதிபதி ரகுபதி வலியுறுத்தினார்.

I read an article on this same topic a few weeks back. It said that consumer cases could be filed in any of the district courts but if an appeal has to be made, the guys have to head to Chennai all the way from South TN and hence some people suggested a consumer forum for southern districts in Madurai court and law college premises. So, a building was started construction for some Lakhs which is in later stages now and is waiting for inauguration.

If this comes to existence, the south TN men who wishes to make a appeal shall not go to Chennai all the way. This is all I know about the consumer forum bench kind in Madurai.

I knew it is a permanent court and not circuit bench. But U had mentioned that permanent consumer forum in Ur post and i wanted to point out that it is not consumer forum but consumer redressal court. I had clarified this point in last post.

Should be a small check dam, to hold some minimum level of water. If there is some kind of waterflow on top of it, our movie industry will use it for shooting purpose as we see in hundreds of other films.

This might be good for Sholavandan area, but will not be good for downstream areas.

Vaigai is relatively pure till Sholavandan area, so it is good to have the check dam there. Viraganoor dam (also kind of check dam) is downstream in the outer fringe of the city...everyone knows it's pathetic condition as there is almost no water + the water stinks there most part of the year.

The tourism policy notes were released online 2 days back and I have posted below the schemes where Madurai figured in :

* Under Mega Tourism scheme, Madurai gets 12.55 Crores INR for integrated infra development funded by GoI.

* Asian Development Bank assisted Infrastructure Development Investment Program for Tourism (IDIPT):

The following two Circuits have been selected for strengthening tourist infrastructure:
1. East Coast Circuit - (Pilgrimage and Heritage Circuit) covering Kancheepuram, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Tiruvannamalai, Nagapattinam, Tiruvarur, Thanjavur, Pudukkottai and Tiruchirappalli Districts.

2. Southern Circuit - (Pilgrimage and Eco Circuit)
covering Madurai, Theni, Dindigul, Rama-nathapuram, Sivagangai, Virudhunagar, Tirunelveli, Thoothukudi, Kanniyakumari Districts and Western Ghats area.

* Special attention to Madurai under Pilgrimage tourism and Heritage tourism.

* Development of Rural Tourism Clusters for Alagarkovil, Pazhamudhirsolai, Melur, Narasingampatti areas in Madurai district.

* In addition to operation of regular Tours to various Tourist destinations by TTDC, the Government has issued orders for launching the following 10 new Tours for the benefit of Tourists during 2012-2013.

சென்னை: மதுரை திருமங்கலம், தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டம் மீளவிட்டான் மற்றும் தெற்கு வீரபாண்டியபுரம் ஆகிய பகுதிகளில், தொழில் வளாகம் அமைக்க திட்டமிடப்பட்டுள்ளது. தமிழகத்தின் அனைத்து பகுதிகளிலும் தொழில் வளர்ச்சியை பரவலாக்கும் நோக்கில், பின்தங்கிய தென் மாவட்டங்களில் தொழில் வளாகங்களை உருவாக்க, சிப்காட் நிறுவனம் நடவடிக்கை எடுத்து வருகிறது. ஏற்கனவே தூத்துக்குடி, திருநெல்வேலி (கங்கை கொண்டான்), திண்டுக்கல் (நிலக்கோட்டை), புதுக்கோட்டை மற்றும் சிவகங்கை (மானாமதுரை) ஆகிய மாவட்டங்களில் தொழில் வளாகங்களை நிறுவியுள்ளது. தற்போது, மதுரை மாவட்டம், திருமங்கலம் தாலுகாவில் ஒரு புதிய தொழில் வளாகத்தை, 1,478 ஏக்கர் நிலப்பரப்பில் உருவாக்கிட, நில எடுப்பு நடவடிக்கை மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகிறது. தூத்துக்குடி மாவட்டம், மீளவிட்டான் மற்றும் தெற்கு வீரபாண்டியபுரம் ஆகிய கிராமங்களில், 1,022 ஏக்கர் மற்றும் ஒட்டப்பிடாரம் கிராமத்தில், 1,533 ஏக்கர் பரப்பளவில் ஒரு தொழில் வளாகத்தை உருவாக்க நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டு வருகிறது.
தொழில் முனைவோரின் நிலத்தேவையை பூர்த்தி செய்ய, ஆறு மாவட்டங்களில், 13 இடங்களில், 16 ஆயிரத்து 400 ஏக்கர் நிலப்பரப்பில் நில வங்கி ஒன்றை உருவாக்க நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக, தொழில்துறை கொள்கை விளக்கக் குறிப்பில் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது.
