Name : Siriraj Toward Medical Excellence in South East Asia
Location : Siriraj Hospital, Thonburi-Bangkok Noi
Owner : Siriraj Hospital
Project Description : A Medical Reserch Facilities which is a part of the major expansion of Siriraj Hospital has also begun: the 'Siriraj toward Medical Excellence in Southeast Asia ' project. 12 acres of land adjacent to Bangkok Noi Campus have been allocated by the Royal Thai Government to house several innovative new facilities, highlighted by Centers of Excellence in Biomedical Research and in Medical Care, promising to solidify Siriraj Hospital 's reputation as a premier health care institution in the region.

Plans are also well underway for the eventual transformation of MU into an autonomous institution, which will enhance the university's efficiency, flexibility, and ability to innovate, and standardize its practices with those of other world-class universities.
Construction Starts : July 2007
Construction Finishes : December 2011

wow! nice! the design looks great especially the glassy lobby/setback. hopefully the canalside promenade will be brilliant! good going for medical science in thailand!

i love all these news medical centers popping up. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant.....

I'm quite overwhelmed with happiness. Siriraj, Chula, Mahidol....whoo! All very glassy and modern and all looking towards "medical excellence". Hope they'll come good.

P.S. I think Siriraj has the best advantage. They are riverside and its just so beautiful and serene.
