Could be a sub-basement for a power generator.

Hi all.

The dips in the rebar could be a number of things. The structure will have many elevators but only a few that will go down to level B5. The bottom of elevator shafts is the most likely reason for the dips.

I wonder if the extra beams they are laying on top of the rebar are the first indication of where the core walls will be ?

For me, yes. There are 4 x 4 "super piles" under the core. That makes a 3x3 "room" seperatet core. And the upper rebarprofiles the core wall footprints.
If i am not wrong same as ST.

The elevators, who runs to b5 need a deeper level as the slap will be. Thats why the separeted rebar.

Just my opinium.

That would be massive. How thick is the layer of rebar now? roughly 3 meter or so?

It has to be. Hasn't it? I mean for technical reasons? Like it has better integrity or whatever?

It does seem to be kind of similar to the Shanghai Tower in the basic layout with the HUGE square core, and the mega columns around the outside.
HUGE!!!!

Not all raft pours are done in one continuous pour.
For instance the BK was done in 4 seperate pours but that makes sense considering its 3 lobed shape.
I'm pretty sure most round rafts are done in one pour though.
