slowly it's moving forward...really can't wait to see this baby rise .

with 660m it's not really far away from the 700m mark

When I was in China the other month the rise of highrises, skyscrapers and mass of people on the move really made Australia look small and deserted when I got back. Sydney looked like some sort of town, not city.

Go China, by 2020 it will be a decidedly different place at this rate of change.

1st red crane lift 2nd crane. What lifted 1st red crane? (probably some yellow crane)

It reminds me of those Fanuc yellow robots building yellow robots in yellow buildings.

Does Shenzhen also have a scale model of the city's future urban plan similar to Shanghai's "Urban Planning Exhibition Center"?

there was a plan to build a museum contemporary art and urban planning exhibition centre which looks like this below now.. i think there should be one if it have been built.......

the plan was to finish it in 2008/09.........
but still not be built yet...

there should be one in the headquarter of urban planning, land and resources commission... but should be an old one coz lots of new buildings came out in the past few years...

Thanks for the info bearb; I was able to find their website but am unable to read any dialect of Chinese so I've not been able to locate the urban plans, if any exist, on their website.

Nobody; 588 is the roof height and 660 is the spire height.

So then, skyscraperpage is wrong. Spire height is what is the generally accepted measurement.

btw, Nice to see both cranes up. Hopefully progress on the foundation will proceed soon.
