Interesting. Sounds a lot like the US in the past. Hopefully China comes up with something to compete with Dubai.

I also didn't realize Shenzen was THAT close to Hong Kong. Neat.

many securities firms are starting to build their headquarters in major cities such as Shenzhen, Shanghai, Beijing and Guangzhou, but they are mostly around 200 meters.

actually this No.1 thing is a little dramatic...
This building is nice though, especially compared to Beijing's headquarter..

That it's standing beside BoC is what's to blame

the middle part of the tower certainly does resemble that of 2IFC. I never seen goldish coloured steel outside the skyscraper before, as most are silvery.
