Christ, the health and safety rules must be pretty strict on this site. In Harry Chaos third picture there's a fella standing about four or five feet off the floor, and he's hooked up his safety harness.

I noticed that too. That's taking it a bit far.

Looks like they have been working on this site the whole time, they've just been placing the steel pieces in the outside holes where we can't see them.

Promising, but I'm holding off until I see some concrete being poured.

Holding off what? This project is a sure thing, it's not just going to stop now.

Pretty sure he could walk around on the ground and still be tethered to that same point. hes up no taller then the guys head on the ground beside him lol
Maybe he actually rides on that thing into the hole......thats gotta be it right?

The construction company, China Construction 1st Corp, is having difficulty hiring experienced project managers/engineers for a project of this scale and magnitude, so the progress is delayed.
Hope they could fix it at the soonest possible time

No kidding, I think OSHA requirement is that you'll need harness and tether if your working surface is over 6 feet above the surrounding floor.

6 feet can kill you if you land wrong.

1 foot can kill you.....if it kicks you hard enough in the head.

Now come to think about it, I think the tether was first applied when he was standing on top of the supercolume segment to guide the hoist. That's certainly tall enough to require a tether. But it's useless since the tie on point is quite lower, so he can fall and hit his head on the lower level (where he stands now) floor because the tether doesn't have sufficient tension travel.

Will probably kick into typical Chinese speed once they get the project management up and running properly. Shanghai tower has been very speedy
