Hopefully this will keep up

But why are some parts of the core and the mega column holes covered?
Anyone knows the purpose?
For the safety of workers below.

Great to see regular progress. Hopefully no more delays and we can watch this one steadily rise.

Does anyone know core dimensions? Is it thicker than ST's?

Here's the Shanghai Tower core at a similar stage. The hole is much larger and incorporates the super columns within it, which makes the core appear smaller.

That 1st one is just mindblowing; all these workers on that steel structure, some balancing half way up.

I'm wondering if supercolumns are at same level with steel core.
BTW, up to now I'm not seeing any steel beams connecting them (core and super columns). And when they take place, what's the deal with the concrete rings that will stay just in the middle? . I presume they gonna get rid of them, cause it's hard to think they will be part of the structure.

Hi Pablo.

Unlike the ST these rings are the edge of the floors of the podium lower levels. On the ST the rings weren't at the same height as the lower levels ended up so they were demolished during construction. Here, I don't see why they couldn't pour the lower levels under the main structure to meet up with the rings (and probably will).

As for the size of the 9 squares making up the core compared to the ST - I think they are comparable. Picture 3 elevators along one side of one of the squares, like there are on the ST. Looks plausible to me.

Ray.

Interesting. A lot of new steel arrived to the site. And they are installing those safety nets. I think they will go even taller with the core without pouring first floors.
