Hi all.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Eastern but with this project and some of its caveman procedures - ??

The steel bits do have the rods sticking out that are meant to be covered in concrete (I can't recall the name of them). So they will have to put up forms before they pour. Forms that could very well be held up by a bunch of workers until the concrete sets up, going by some previous methods used on this project.

The term you're looking for is shear studs, shear anchors or shear connectors. I prefer shear studs because it's shorter and alliterative.

From the last pics i would estimate the core to 30-35m. The whole tower maybe 50-60m.
But that's just an estimate. Does anyone have exact numbers?

How many floors does it have below street level? i would guess around 10, but i know nothing about China :/

Yes that happens here in Aus as well, it's just different construction methods, as well as the ground
