Yep. It most likely is. You can see that spots where existing cranes are installed looks exactly the same. And we do know for sure there will be two additional cranes on the core.

yep, that's obvious, I think when the concrete is high enough they can put the platforms for the cranes on it.

Tower supports arrived so as predicted cranes will jump. Strangely though concrete formworks have to jump some more before all needed supports can be installed. So it may take some time.

I think there will be 4 cranes because the concrete forms are notched to make room for the extra 2 cranes.

No, you don't need many people working at the same time to get it up. Overall, a lot more people will work on this tower yes, but workers come and go. Some of them will already have moved to a different site before this tower is finished. There are a lot of specialists doing only one job, for example installing the lights or welding steel.

It looks like they're using metal for scaffolding. Has China stopped using bamboo for scaffolding?

Hmm... super column steel must take quite a bit loger to fab than regular core parts. But good to see this shooting skyward! Thanks for the updates. It's massive.

It's hard to judge from the pictures, but the core walls look to easily be 1m thick to me, if not more. Look at how long the red line is compared to the worker's head/torso:

I'm quite sure the core walls are more than 1m thick

Ok, these forms are very unusual for me.
I noticed that using steel tubes with couplers is very popular in China.
