I wonder if they will install a new climbing formwork when the concrete will reach the current top. That would explain why the cranes didn't jump higher.

Is one steel piece 3 floors high?

Wow, that core is larger than I thought. The close-ups almost make it look like those steel workers aren't tethered but you can see securing lines on at least one of them somewhat faintly. Still pretty crazy.

Lots of steel down there - it's going to be a fun next few days to see it go up.

I don't know the eaxct dimensions, but it should be roughly 30 meter wide.

Anyway, 432 Park would fit inside it easily.

no new steel for the core on site. so i guess they're really stopping here and wait until the concrete reaches the top

They may focus on the steel bars first. The core is already looking tall.

yes, and they've to install another climbing system. Similar to Wuhan Center or CTF in Guanzhou. the current formwork seems quite slow to me

I'm in total awe of those Super-columns. They must be some 5-6 meters long and 1.20-1.60 wide

I know I've said it before but I'm just in awe that Human Beings can build such dynamic, massive projects like some of these skyscrapers, being built around the globe,, it just blows my mind all the work,, and the scale of these projects, yet you see progress practically every day. Imagine the work on the outside, then it's hard to fathom all the materials to make it habitable on the interior,, just so damn impressive.

This core is massive!! Almost as big as Lotte World Tower in Seoul or bigger?

I guess work will stop now as its Chinese New Year tomorrow. How long do people in China take time off work normally during the new years break?
