What I like on Hong Kong building's like 2 IFC and ICC, it's that they don't have a spire, they're just big, and not due to a thin spire.
that's why they also compare buildings by roof height.

the design is under going experts review... hmmmnn. most of the drawings now does not show the tip of sphire. the roof stays at 588m, OD at 540m.

This building needs the spire, it should be tallest building in China when completed.

There is no good reason why every other buildings in China needs to be shorter than the Shanghai Tower. They should have an open competition among the great cities of China to have the tallest buildings. And that will be an interesting race to watch :-)

I think I like the non-spire design better. It looks more natural and crystalline.

A building which has a peak and not a flat roof is simply crying for a spire! It definitely needs one!

great! I have seen some activity around the construction site, some workers installing some blue fences, I am not 100% sure it's for PingAn or for the HK-SZ-GZ express railway. I'll keep an eye on it.

it looks perfect, missing the smaller tower though.so many classy buildings going up in China at the moment, can't wait until everything is done!!!
