I love this tower, surely beats Shanghai Tower and co..
It looks like it came out of 1930's New York, Art Deco, with a modern day interpretation. The height is also impressive.

This one is rising much faster than Shanghai Tower did in its first 25 floors.

Is concrete being poured inside the steel parts of the mega-columns as well? Or is the reinforced concrete only used around its perimeter?

Great pictures!

The base already looks sick. The design is so simple yet so unique. It's basically a vertically-tapered box with angled/recessed corners, but it will be one of the 5 best skyscrapers ever built if it looks like the renders. The cladding and how it tapers into the spire is what separates it from the pack IMO. Just a beautiful building. This and Shanghai Tower requires a visit to China soon...

^ This.

It's amazing how much impression a few steel beams at just the right angle can make. But looking at those photos it struck me just how incredibly strong this design is. That's "strong" in all senses.

Of the many tell towers going up all over Asia, this and CTF Guangzhou are my nos. 1 and 2 (although the order varies) and that's by a fairly wide margin. I'll take simple vertical lines over some of these more "avant garde" shapes any day.
