I think the core of this building is wider than the entire 432 park avenue.

For sure, but this is an office tower, so it isn't comparable. It needs way more elevators and all. ( it will have 76 )

The speed of Chow Tai Fook Guangzhou is 250m/year, so it must be much faster than Pingan... What was the speed of Burj Khalifa please? It´s no wonder if it was faster, because the upper 50% of BK is very slim, abnormally for normal skyscrapers

BK was the first super tall to achieve a 3 day cycle.

Yes ESB used fast track construction methods therefore it will always be faster than any skyscraper built today, and all by not even using any modern day technologies like computers. BK broke the 3 day cycle per floor only because it tapered towards the top using Meva floor systems.

For a time there Ping An took forever to get out of the ground. Must of went a year without activity on site. Then about last year things started to get kicking. Can't wait for this one to top out!
